Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere

Please no jets over our homes!

This is another example of how the top 1% is destroying our planet while all of us need to pay the bill to prevent a climate catastrophe!

climate change HAS to be our priority. it is unconscionable to make such decisions when the world is crying out for us to protect our planet and all that lives on it.

Please, please counter the audacity of Hanscom Expanders: what? more private jets and private funding encouraging more greenhouse gasses, contravening Commonwealth aspirations/pledges to get to net zero by 2050 or sooner? Will moneyed, vacationers and hop-scotchers further privilege themselves flyway by our decarbonization planning for their fun and selfish convenience? On the publics’ subsidization? NO, Please use your well-earned environmental and management chops to stop this frivolous folly.

Please do not allow private jet expansion at Hanscom. Not only would the CO2 emissions be harmful, but the increased automobile traffic would he harmful.

S please do not let Hanscom expand. Ban short haul flights.

The noise from and frequency of the low-flying jets over my Acton home as they approach Hanscom is already bothersome! The pollution from these jets is objectionable. Do not allow more private jet flights into Hansom!

I am retired USAF. I love our country and what we stand for. PLEASE help the environment by not allowing this. Our children and their grandchildren will inherit quite a mess if we do not act NOW! thank-you.

On behalf of the birds and other animals that have been relegated to live at Great Meadows Refuge please do not allow private jet travel to expand. It must be very scary and unpleasant for them to live directly under the flight path, especially when the jets come so low right over their heads, upon landing and take off.

As a town, we're working so hard to reduce our impact and preserve our community for future generations. Please don't undo our collective effort to protect the convenience of the privileged few.

Amherst MA Such an expansion is so flagrantly in opposition to needed response to climate change that it is hard to believe that it has been proposed: to pander to the desires of the the wealthy business flyers which pollutes at a per capita-mile flown far in excess of commercial flights is madness.

This world is bleak enough as it is. Let's try not to make it bleaker.

Expanding private jet expansion is a gift to the very few with an enormous cost to all of us - in terms of its climate impact, its impact on noise, and its impact on surrounding infrastructure. Why should the tax dollars of Tom, Dick and Harry be used to benefit the wealthy who can fly away from the impacts they create?
