Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere

This new hanger would essentially cancel out all the work we've been doing as a community to reduce greenhouse gases- all for the convenience of a handful of people. This isn't fair and undermines the climate goals we've set as a local community and as a state.

A few wealthy people should not be able to pollute the air for a huge number of other people just for their own convenience.

11:30 PM low flying noisemaker over my head. Don't need this. Have seen larger planes too. This is out of control.

How can they do this without letting people know?

It’s hard to fathom that this is happening in 2023. When will we stop this climate-killing rush to further satisfy the greed of the super-wealthy?

I think the state government should be forward looking and invest in air transport technologies that use renewable energy sources. Instead of building hanger space for private jets @ Hanscom, the state should only allow air taxis based on EV technology or fuel cell technology to the airport. This will spur innovation in the air transportation space and also encourage private individuals to move away from jet engine based aircrafts.

Too many jets already fly over my house daily. I moved from my previous house and the FAA then conveniently re-routed their flight paths and now the jets fly over my new house which is over 10 miles away from Hanscom. Don't expand Hanscom.

Worried about greenhouse gas emission.

This is ridiculous. The world is in crisis and it is being compounded by the ever growing wealth gap. People and the planet will dye, and the billionaires that are responsible will survive. Block this project. Please.

We cannot cater to the 1% and survive. Private jets, contributing disproportionately to climate change, should NOT be encouraged!
