The US is 40% responsible for historic global CO2 emissions. All Global South countries in total are responsible for 8%, but many of them are already suffering the consequences in the form of climate refugees on the road because their home is no long habitable. Expanding private jets just adds insult to climate injustice injury.

Making life easier for those wealthy enough to own a private jet should not be the responsibility of the taxpayers of a state. Also, making it easier for planes that pollute at 45 times the rate/passenger that a commercial jet flies is very detrimental to our entire planet.

I hear planes all day and night. The planes interrupt my phone service and even disconnect my service. The touch and goes are worse on the weekends. When I’m on my deck we have to stop the conversation and wait for the plane to pass if it’s a larger one. I can’t imagine more air traffic.

Please stop the enlargement of Hanscom Field and any other private jetports. They promote more greenhouse gas emissions; we must stop such emissions now.
