I live at Wood Street in Lexington, very Close the the Hanscom field. I am already annoyed the the traffic from interstate 95 and the sound and smell it produces. Especially during the summer the smog and noise is very intense. On top those helicopters and private jets. When I walk on the battle road my ears are struggling with taking the nature in because of all the noise from cars and aircrafts.

Imagine other potential uses for the money in olved with this project. Instead of supporting those who can afford private jets, we could spend it on universal healthcare or universal Pre-K or college education. Private jets are simply a massive waste of resources all around.

I STRONGY OBJECT TO THIS PLAN. THERE IS ALREADY ENOUGH POISON AROUND OUR CHERISHED TOWN FROM THESE AIRCRAFT, AND MORE THAN ENOUGH OBNOXIOUS NOISE WITH FREQUENT VIOLATIONS OF NIGHT FLYING REGULATIONS. I AM TIRED OF BEING AWAKENED AT 1 OR 2 AM.

I grew up near Bedford, MA, and I wholeheartedly support this petition to stop the private luxury jet expansion project at Hanscom air base. This would be an assault to our environment that is fully avoidable.

Private jet expansion at Hanscom and elsewhere has the potential to cancel all the other progress the Commonwealth is making on CO2 emissions. It an egregious example of private wealth passing off costs to the whole of society. Please stop any expansion of private jets. Thank you.
