Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere

Private jet capacity should not be a priority at this time.

I have lived here over 31 years. Noise has definitely increased during the day at Hanscom and I often hear planes in the air past 11:00 p.m. In addition to the increased noise, the effect on the environment would be extremely hazardous. Please stop this expansion!

Private jets should be heavily taxed to compensate the rest of us for their emissions.

As a citizen I have a responsibility to take action toward saving this planet by limiting our carbon footprint. Signing this petition is one such action.

I am against the expansion of Hansom in order to allow for more private jets. It is imperative that we consider our climate!!!!!

Stopping this project is a "no-brainer"; just look at how easily our air quality can be affected by emissions. CO2e may not be as visible as wildfire smoke but it is worse.

I urge you to stop the expansion of private jet capacity at Hanscom Field. We must not sacrifice the health and welfare of the residents of MA to wealthy private jet owners. Private jets adds to our greenhouse gas emissions and takes us backwards in our efforts to reduce these dangerous emissions.

Please stop Hanscom Field expansion! We do NOT want or need private jets flying over neighborhoods and the National Park!

Please stop this expansion. Every season we see increasingly horrific effects from climate change. The expansion pollutes and increases ill health

We do not need to expand luxury access at the cost of everyone else's quality of life!

Private luxury airplanes would be acceptable if they didn't burn fossil fuel. Jet fuel from some sustainable source, or battery airplanes, would not necessarily exacerbate global warming. We really shouldn't subsidize private luxury jets that burn fossil fuel.

Decrease air traffic around Boston, not increase it!

This is OUTRAGEOUS. Please prevent Hanscom Field from increasing any private jet expansion!

Stop spending $ to support the rich and their polluting private jets. Focus funds on children, education, and healthcare; not on the tax evading elite.

I consider this project an assault on our environment and object wholeheartedly!!!

The Massachusetts government already recognizes that we are in a climate emergency. Projects like this will take us further from our energy reduction goals. There is no good reason to build this project. Please stop expanding airports and focus on public transportation instead.

This is a moral problem by allowing jets' expansion to users oblivious to the effects on climate or just callous over the effects.
