Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere

This proved expansion would been seriously counter productive environmentally in several ways. Please reject it!

It makes no sense for the he top 1% to build multiple hangers to house their personal jets, so that they can fly to one of their many vacation homes! Couldn’t that Money be used to feed and support the under served in the Commonwealth? We must also recognize how bad this could be for the environment- hurting animals and bird. Putting the flight paths near Minuteman National Park would be terrible!

We must act immediately and decisively to stop luxury jet expansion that will drastically increase greenhouse gas emissions and undermine the global effort to address the existential threat of climate change.

Thank you, Governor Healey, for your attention to this serious matter. Please help us to reduce this planned, huge expansion byMassport.

The noise and other pollution from Hanscom is already horrible. Our communities should not have to bear the increased burden.

PLEASE, protect our envionment, the safety and health of our families and children, plants and wildlife, and our shared air and do not expand Hanscom for the benefit of luxury private jets which are harmful to life on earth! More planes, more pollution.

Using private jet is bad environmentally. Subsidizing their usage with tax incentives is even worse for mankind.

This super-polluting and unsustainable project puts the lie to any claim by the Massport Board and Executive Officers that they care about sustainability. It must be stopped to protect all of us.

We must follow in the bold steps of Amsterdam Airport. They have banned all private jets flights; we must do our part to stop the growth of this CO2 super-emitting form of unnecessary travel. The Climate Crisis demands our action now!

Dear Governor Healy, With typically 4-5 passengers per flight, private business jets are considered to be the most egregious form of travel per capita for their carbon footprint. With the looming climate crisis, we must do all we can to eliminate CO2 emissions, not create more of them.

This development must be stopped. My Lexington home is in the flight path now, and weekends, especially Sundays, see private jet landings every 15 minutes, all day long.
