South San Francisco does not have the sound infrastructure and resources to simply keep building. You also have a lot of unhappy established people that you have failed to acknowledge the existing populous’ concerns. You’re doing nothing but turning SSF into an extension of San Francisco. It’s not okay. It’s downright wrong.

According to SSF Spring 2018 newsletter council approved a 5 story, 172 units, retail and various parking options on the car wash lot . Five stories on that site is absurd and WHEREVER they next propose 12 stories I am adamantly opposed.

Don't turn Sunshine Gardens into Sunshine Ghetto with a development in a neighborhood that doesn't even have a public park. 800 apartments could bring an additional 3,000 people to an already congested area.

High-rise living can be isolating, separating residents from daily urban life and the activities that take place on the streets. Up to three or four stories, however, one can still comfortably walk down to the street. From a window, one can connect visually and feel part of the public scene. For this reason, many built environment professionals believe four stories is the maximum acceptable building height to achieve a decent level of connection, protect health and deliver the right level of density at the same time.
Are there any studies available on the potential impact these developments would have on the existing population, infrastructure and surrounding environment.

Please don’t let this happen in our City. Don’t let high rise become the norm. It is taking away from the small town felling. Just increasing the congestion that is already here. There isn’t any parking as is

Stop the insanity of building this building AL ALL along El Camino Real - however if YOU must approve it any building over 5 stories like Kaiser Hospital is SO WRONG. Are you listening city council?

High rise developments should be built where all the other high rise buildings are - definitely not along the El Camino corridor. Think about the traffic it will bring to an already congested area.
