Save Suffolk Countryside

It would ruin this ancient piece of the countryside. which we must protect and is the wrong place for a solar farm on this scale.

The Box valley is one of the most beautiful areas of Suffolk. This unprincipled proposal would be a total disaster.

Agricultural land or a power station, what should we have in the countryside?

Surely this is total madness, when demand for electricity increases after dark this solar farm will be producing nothing, so we need another power station to sit idle during daylight hours but to switch on at night. Is this economic?

There must be public consultation with the local people before this application is passed. I feel such a vast area of solar panels will destroy an area of natural beauty, surely there are more appropriate sites for a solar farm of this scale.

This proposed site is situated in a place in Suffolk that should be declared an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Let us keep the coutryside as countryside and find more appropriate locations for these developments

Planning would not let a grade 1 listed building put panels on it's roof so why consider it acceptable to ruin grade 1 countryside ?

How can this be contemplated when individuals are so restricted in their planning permissions. This looks like, shall we say, favouritism!!!

According to the application, the applicant and agent are both based in Brighton, this should be thrown out

This rush towards renewables shouldn't be at the expense of our natural heritage.

If it's not the National Grid it's this lot trying to destroy a truly beautiful area. Where are The Groton Pylon Alliance. The pylons might have gone away(don't bank on it). I gave money to the GPA on the basis they would continue to fight all enviromental threats! Sorry rant over. Let's stop this!

Not thr right place to put a solar farm.this will spoil this beautiful countryside forever.

I am totally opposed to the scale and position of this solar farm. The environmental vandalism should not be permitted.
