Someone needs to rethink! There's definitely a better location out there.

This desecration of our beautiful countryside must stop. There are plenty of more appropriate places to have these panels, like on the top of industrial building roofs, on brownfield sites and using old disused airfields. Please save our countryside.

Another thoughtless proposal. After Pylons it's now solar farms! Wake up Babergh and if this is an essential service it should be on a brownfield site not despoiling rare and precious countryside.

This would spoil a real beauty spot in our county. There are plenty of alternative locations that this could be located. The Box Valley is just not suitable!

Of all the new energy proposals the plans for a solar farm are the most disruptive in a country where land is at a premium, in addition to its blight on the visual enviroment

I am not a NIMBY - however, this is such a beautiful ancient landscape, which we have protected from Pylons - and now this!! Why are there no planning regulations set out for this, when in suffolk, you need to ask for planning permission for everything you do on a house!!

This should never happen until every roof in Suffolk has been covered in solar panels. This would be a victory of financial interest over common sense.

The location for this proposed wind farm is totally inappropriate. It will be visible from not only Newton Greene and Edwardstone but also from parts of Boxford and major roads leading to Sudbury. The site and the surrounding countryside are prime arrable land. The location should not have been redesignated at suitable for this type of development in the first place.
