As a resident of The Green I will be devastated if this planning is approved, the amount of wildlife in those fields is incredible, a new build estate would completely ruin this gorgeous rural village

I am a regular visitor from South East London and spend weekends in the lovely village of Donington-le-Heath, enjoying the rural & tranquil views as from The Green. The number of new homes proposed for this location would certainly ruin this vista forever. The Green itself, whilst a country thoroughfare, often seems very busy with "through" traffic, which would inevitably be considerably increased by being proposed as the access to the 40 house estate. I understand that the proposal appears to conflict with an agreed Local Plan which enshrines an Area of Separation between Donington-le-Heath and its nearest neighbouring village. I hope that local councillors will refuse permission for this application.

Speaking as a qualified driving instructor, I find the idea of adding more traffic to an already congested, narrow road implausible. Plus when I moved to the village 12years ago, I was immediately in awe of how rural the area is, even though it sits within easy reach of three other town/villages. The village is jewel of the North West Leics. Dont spoil it.

This is not acceptable as the road structure will not be able to accomadate anymore traffic, There are too many near misses evey day with the road being used as a rat run for cars to Ibstock. There are parked cars along the road all day, which makes this road a single vehicel access.

This is an area of local separation. Please do not allow urban sprawl, Donington le Heath needs to remain a village not an urban connurbation of Ellistown.

There couldn't be a worse position for a new estate. All roads through DLH are already too tight, narrow and over busy. The village is a conservation area an in time is going to be surrounded by houses all round which will lose its charm. As if there isn't already enough houses going up in the near by area! It'll soon all be 1 big housing estate. Horrible

The road on which the site is to enter from is to narrow for the volume of traffic we have had car crashes here also and buliding here would increase this problem adding an average of 80cars plus lorries

Please no more houses leading to even more traffic.My teenage son as to cross an already leathal road to get his school bus, , got two parks really close by but the roads are too fast and busy to allow my children out .This is suppose to be a small quiet village, nothing good can come of these plans .I live on the green and struggle every day to get out of my drive because of all the cars on the road, we do not need any futher traffic or extra parked cars because there is unsufficient parking .

There are far too many applications for new housing developments In and around North West Leicestershire. This will result with us having very little countryside left and a huge damage to the environment.

Donington Le Heath is a lovely village with a lovely village feel to it. There is a workable amount of housing and green at the moment and we would lose the identity of the village of this was to be reduced

The entrance to this estate is on the most dangerouse part of what is a country lane on the bend, and on the brow of a hill, the are does not have infrastructure to support .The council have no funds for road widening, and the builders won't want to spend their profits on it.
It's the wrong place for an estate.

The road is already very busy and at times dangerous with the reduced visibility caused by parked cars.The extra traffic would involved would make the existing traffic problems considerably worse.

This is straight across the road from our house. It's an already busy fast road it can't cope with a possible 80 extra cars and people. It's ridiculous when thousands of houses are already going to be built less than a mile away. Coalville has no facilities for these extra people.

The local area will simply not take any more traffic on an already narrow road leading in one way to country lanes and in another to an already dangerous junction.
