Stop 3-Story Office Building in Balmoral!

Council members, please consider the longstanding vacancies of office space 1 block north of this proposed development as an indication that this new development is not needed.

There are too many empty office spaces in this area. No need to build new ones! There is an empty lot where Kroger used to be right down the road!! Use that!!

of all the places in Memphis to build, you choose to invade a neighbor families with small children. A neighborhood, where there is neighbors and dogs, children and tricycles, bicycles...WHYYYYYYY????

There is plenty of vacant office space basically across the street from this proposed building. People are working from home more and occupancy rate at nearby buildings is under 50%. Our neighborhood neither wants this or needs it.

I am against a 3 story office building in my residential neighborhood which will increase traffic and reduce property value to this neighborhood.

No 3 story building in this neighborhood. This will increase traffic, lower property value and cause disruption in our community.

This is a residential area and to prevent heavy traffic through the neighborhood, crime and a reduction in property value the building must not exceed two stories. Each building on the corners of Quince and Lynnfield are one story. This new building should be capatible to all others.

Please keep our neighborhood zoned strictly for residential. A 3-story office building is not a home.

Because there is too much vacant space on poplar including building being built at poplar and Yates. You will not fill this building with tenants.

The City council should be more worried about the taxpayers. How about they build a retaining wall behind my house where the open field is. I’m losing land and so are my neighbors we see the car dealership buildings because they took trees down that shielded our view from it. Put up a three story building in a residen neighborhood for what!! Take care of your taxpayers before you take care of a business in a residential neighborhood!!!

Don’t do it!!

I own and rent the house on the SE corner across the street from this lot. The income from this house is a part of my retirement income. I feel with the decrease in my home value, my rental income also will decrease as will my income to live on.

I request that City Council consider the residence and their wishes in this building project. There is empty office space within the area. The homes in this area are struggling to maintain value. This development does not help the neighborhood.

I am opposed to for building 3 story office building in Balmoral. It will increase the traffic and decrease the value of the property value in the Balmoral area. Moreover, there are plenty of office space empty in several building locate on Lynnfield north of Quince.

Am opposed to building.

The Balmoral area is a great residential pocket in East Memphis. There is already more than sufficient office space in the area.

There is a surplus of office space available in the vicinity as close as immediately across the street on the northwest corner on Quince and Lynnfield, notwithstanding additional office space further north along Lynnfield up to Park.
