Stop the Potential spreading of the Novel coronavirus in schools of York Region, Ontario

Scholl should take preventive measure.

This has to stop. Stop eating wild animals and then infecting everyone around you. Stop the spread and quarantine yourselves or go back

I have two children at Country Day School and I agree with stricter measures being implemented immediately for the safety of the community.

This is the right thing to do.

This NEW coronavirus is the second deadly virus originating in China. After SARS we should without hesitation be taking this outbreak way more seriously and not just waiting until it gets worse before taking the emergency measures needed to prevent the spread. Even if it simply means closing all schools for a period of time. What is more important than the lives and future of our children!!

Restrict flights in or out of China. SARS outbreak was devastating to Toronto and GTA.

Even private school, we want mandatory quarantine for ppl who travelling back from China

Learn from SARS outbreak, allow kids to wear mask and force people with high risk to just stay home for 14 days

We are scared it’s already in York region school close the schools

Please allow masks in school and do not let students whose families have arrived from China to return to class for 2 weeks. We must protect our children.

Kids should be allowed to wear masks

All York region schools should be closed at this time. You can teach, ask, and remind kids to cover their cough, don’t touch their face and wash hands frequently, but they just won’t remember. They are kids. The best protection we can give our kids right now is to keep them away from public spaces like schools.

I just heard that there are kids attending this school who have relatives who were on the plane that brought the virus here.

Please check all the children because it’s so serious for our family, we have a newborn baby and we need to be safe from this virus.

Public school should not allow the children who recently visited China - back, until 15 day passes from their date of return.
