Stop the Potential spreading of the Novel coronavirus in schools of York Region, Ontario

Please add Central Park Public School in Markham. There is at least 90% Asians kids that go there.

Let’s take action against this virus

Both my kids go to this school which is at least 90% Asian students.

There should be preventive measures in place for our children. Instead of being reactive how about we be proactive.

Students of Chinese origin who have been to China, or have had any contact with friends or relatives who have travelled anywhere in China in the past few weeks, should be required to stay home for a reasonable period of quarantine until this international crisis subsides. There are so many Chinese residents in York Region who travel or have traveled to and from China recently, or had visitors from China, or are expecting visitors from China... this is a wide open door that can and should be shut. If our government is unwilling to do what it’ should to restrict travellers, then our school boards should step up and do what they can to protect our students, staff, families and communities.

I do believe we should follow all these

This is unbelievable. China did not disclose the real infection numbers but we have friends passed away because of this Coronavirus. Please take it serious

School should allow students to wear protective masks

Prevention is key - School should allow students to wear mask.

Check all the families who had recently visited the affected area

Schools and teachers going on strike what about us parents who have concerns about our children's health . A teacher at my daughter's public school and said that they were NOT allowed to wear masks at School ...

Better be safe than sorry! Stricter measures protect everyone.

I think all Toronto school board children should we’re masks and take extra precautions during this outbreak-our children’s safety should be high priority and the seriousness of the this illness should be taken with extreme measures.Thank you for time

School should set up the front door checking desk like hospital; whom has fever should not enter school and those who has cold or coughing should give a mask to wear before enter to school. Also teaching student the right way to wear mask and protect student's health.

Majority of the students are Chinese

This should be mandatory that anyone who has travelled to China recently be tested for the virus and should all be wearing masks. Canadians should feel secure about their health in this country! And citizens should be protected!

Please take action as soon as possible. Public places are perfect setting to spread any disease.Children are perfect Carrier.Do not wait for Government.
