Stop the Potential spreading of the Novel coronavirus in schools of York Region, Ontario

My son’s classmate just came back from China a couple days ago and returned to school yesterday. I have to keep my son staying home to avoid taking the risk. The parents should not send their kid to school at this critical time.

Seriously, all those arriving from an affected area need to be quarantined. They are obviously NOT able to regulate their own behaviour if they are leaving an infected area to come into Canada. This has NOTHING to do with race, and those who claim that it does are themselves racist!

The school board has been calling for strike several times and we've been keeping kids at home! If our health professionals don't realize the importance of such deadly virus then maybe the school board shall call for a contineous several weeks of strike! In addition, I don't understand why government still allow people to travel to China?! I understand there are people who don't care about themselves but those eventually will come back to Canada and impose others to such dangerous virus. FYI, my friend's colleague left 3 days ago to China for 2 weeks for their new year knowing the risks. All her colleagues told her it not safe and she claimed she doesn't care!!
