Close schools for 3 weeks

Would like the quarantine to start after march break ends for 2 weeks. Travelling during spring break will expose people to the virus while away on holidays.

York region school board is not taking proper pandemic measures. They do not have signs posted at the entrance of tge school and i have received limited correspondence on preventative measures. It is time to shut schools down until the virus is under control. Many people travel creating a higher risk of coming into contact. Schools are a breeding ground for viruses. The board is not conducting their due diligence and duty of care.

According to center and global development, school closure can be an effective measure to contain the spread of influenza. Although school closure is not even being take into consideration by the government, i do suggest that people who have traveled internationally especially to Asia, should be granted a dismiss from school for minimum of 17 days. This is to maintain a secure environment, and avoid taking any risks. This is beneficial for our society too. Taking three new confirmed cases of Carona virus into consideration in Toronto, Bringing Ontario total to 18, Schools have to start taking action for the sake of avoiding any risks.
