We don’t need another (ugly)apartment building, especially one that so dense and tall.

I strongly oppose another apartment complex in Glenview. Recently the village has added a multi unit complex just east of the proposed development, two developments on Waukegan Road between Glenview Rd. and Lake Street and a mega apartment complex next to McDonald's (168 units). The amount of traffic that will be brought into the area will make travel through town very difficult. Why is the village so supportive of ruining the quality of life in such a beautiful suburb?

Thank you for bringing this decision making process to the public. If Glenview is to retain some of its Village feel I would prefer our tax dollars be directed to attracting viable businesses to our downtown area, as the Board has talked about for the past 30 years.

I strongly oppose this development. The proposed is far too dense for this site and will significantly impact traffic in a negative way. DON'T DO IT. No one will be able to safely navigate Harlem/GV road with all the trains and traffic making quality of life in GV diminished. Then the avoidance of Harlem/GV Rd will spill over to our other already clogged traffic.

This is a horribly planned project. I know some people feel this is good for revitalizing the downtown area but I believe this build will sit empty. Plus they are overbuilding a small plot of land. If this project passes I will work aggressively to vote out our village leadership.

We oppose the building of the structure that's planned in Glenview, Illinois on 1850 Glenview Road . This project will have a negative impact on pedestrian crossing and traffic.

Too large of a building for a small downtown. Not enough green space. Not enough parking. Why do we need this?

Please stop developing every open space to over-sized commercial property which increases traffic congestion and hazards to school children and other pedestrians.

The size of the proposed project will negatively impact every entity and individual in the area.

As a Glenview resident, I support development of the downtown, but this proposed building is unsightly and far too large for the site. Its immediate proximity to train tracks and the nearby school will compromise pedestrian and motorist safety.

Too many floors and too big for Glenview ... traffic will be terrible!

This is a travesty. Why would the zoning board ever allow such density and encroachment

The whole project is an insult to the citizens of Glenview. The density and height, lack of public parking and the height of the building is just a money grab by the developer

I actually am a FORMER Glenview resident, but want to add my support to this petition. I still have family members in Glenview, so I have a good feel for the impact that this proposed project will have on the community. City planning should not be all about “growth” and perceived added tax dollars. First, it should be about quality of life and what is in the best interests of the residents already living in Glenview. This project would cause irreparable harm to the quality of life in Glenview. Please do the right thing!

This is a One Hundred Year Mistake, this development is too dense and too large and will forever change the character of the downtown area. This project does not meet ANY of the stated goals of the Downtown Revitalization plan, which was developed with community input. Clearly this proposed development ignores that. Traffic safety, parking, congestion ... this is not good for our community.

Totally oppose the Village plan. Size and scope of project is detrimental to the GV development strategy.
