Too much congestion as it is today during rush hour. This project won't help.

No need for more expensive dense housing in an already dense area

I do not want this proposal to pass. It will cause more congestion in this congested area.

Saw the article pasted below on CNN this morning. It's sad that our Glenview board isn't paying attention to this and the many issues their plan will create. Trying to get over the tracks at 5pm? Be prepared to sit for 10+ minutes with all of the traffic and trains going through. Trying to find parking on a Friday evening or Saturday / Sunday morning? Good luck finding a parking spot! I have not seen anywhere that our board has done an impact study on the consequence to putting a multi-tenant condo on this lot. I go through the downtown area often. These decisions by our board are not in the best interest of residents that go through that area. I'm all for the Best lot not sitting vacant and putting something there that will generate revenue for our wonderful city but the decision to put a multi-tenant condo in a location that previously housed a business with it's own parking comes with significant consequences to the residents in the area. A 77 unit building will have people with multiple cars and visitors that will need street parking. The business currently in the area are bound to suffer because of the parking issues that are not only not being addressed, but are being made worse but injecting another 77 families into an area already taxed with traffic congestion and limited parking. Sadly loosing the beautiful trees is just the icing on the cake. I truly hope that our board is paying attention to these concerns and makes remedies to this plan. https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/20/health/iyw-cities-losing-36-million-trees-how-to-help-trnd/index.html

This is too dense of a development for the size and location!

I have been a Glenview resident for four years and I oppose this project in its current form. I understand that the parcel of land will be developed into townhomes/ condos, however, the current renderings show a monstrosity the is completely inconsistent with the downtown.

Glenview resident of 33 years. The village needs to start heeding the concerns of its citizens instead of literally and metaphorically bulldozing over them in favor of what the board wants. There are far better options than the current plan.

Awful project, Shameful of Village Representatives to push this project through despite large majority of Residents that oppose it. Why do Village Board members support Developers over the Residents that voted then in? Scandalous, sad.

This project is completely out of line with existing structures and, if built as planned, would have a clearly negative impact on the entire neighborhood.

I do not favor this development, which is too large/dense and will contribute more traffic to a highly congested area.

I’ve lived in Glenview 40 years. This project would be detrimental to our community as it’s too dense and doesn’t improve parking for everyone nor benefit the residents in our town as a whole. It’s dangerous as walkers will be at risk. I oppose it vehemently.

Insane! More housing to be left vacant by baby boomers ... How many schools were left empty in the 1980's?? Revitalize with vitalizing vendors.

I live in Glenview and love this community. I agree we need to do more to revitalize our downtown as well as the town center but this is not the way to do it. It is too large, will bring in too much traffic and will overburden our already stretched infrastructure.

Downtown is a traffic nightmare. Glenview does not need another rental development, let alone this monster.
