I believe this plan will cause congestion and parking problems downtown.

The proposal is big for the lot size and would alter the downtown as we know it.

My questions need answers, otherwise I will stop paying taxes---1. why developers get our money for this development. 2. Will they accept section 8 vouchers? If "Yes", I am against this development. 3. We pay huge property taxes to support school ranking, though our kids don't attend the school anymore. With rental property, the school will lose ranking and I oppose the idea of this development.

I agree that the traffic congestion and possibility of more accidents will be a nightmare waiting to happen.

I'm for sensible development in downtown Glenview. I moved to Glenview, not Evanston.

Too dense, too busy, plus I can’t pull out on Glenview Road now. Yes, I’m in the neighborhood. Five buildings down. Also, my house is in the picture.

I believe that alternative developers and plans should be seriously considered. This site is ideal for inclusion of workforce housing units, and developers with a vested interest in developing this type of multifamily residential or mixed use property should be contacted for design proposals.

I feel this project like so many of recent Glenview projects does NOT take the citizens’’ concerns about overcrowding and poor traffic control into consideration. I’ve lived in Glenview for over 45 years. It’s so sad to see the village no longer listen to the people who made Glenview what it is. Please consider voting against this project.

This would be a travesty to build this building. We have enough unoccupied apartment/condo buildings in Glenview. The traffic congestion on top of an already heavily congested area would be a nightmare, not to mention the public safety concerns with children coming and going from school. If this passes, I'll will do my best to see that everyone who favors and votes for this gets voted out of office. The Village has made enough bad decisions regarding this property and allowing this to happen would be the biggest travesty of all.

The building is very nice looking, but not for such a small area in Glenview. My biggest concern is for the businesses that exist already and those that will come to the downtown area. Parking really needs to be considered. Living within walking distance of the downtown area, I don't always want to walk. If I go to Forza's, I want to be able to park with in a block. If I go to a restaurant in the area, I may walk during the warmer months, but if the weather is cool or raining, I would like to park near by. Not the same distance as if I walked from my home. This already occurs when I make choices for dinner in the Glen. Please help us bring and KEEP businesses in our downtown area by giving our residents and non-residents ample and close parking to those businesses. I was also surprised by the parking study. There are a fair number of accidents at Glenview Road and Harlem that seem to be not even considered as important to this development. Why is Harlem considered a main road and not Glenview Road? I hope that there will be more consideration to this development and what is allowed to be built in this space. It will be a precedent for others to come. I enjoy the cozy hometown feel of Glenview.
