We need to stop this massive development that will completely overwhelm downtown and impact traffic and pedestrian safety.

This is an ill-conceived plan that will negatively affect the residents of Glenview. I totally oppose this planned development.

Plan does not comply with town development strategy. Leave no room for parking, which is already a mess; planned road will only add to congestion and danger. This plan needs to be re- conceived

This project does not conform to the downtown revitalization plan, it eliminates badly needed parking for commuters and downtown visitors, and I question whether they will be able to fill 72 units in that location. I can't imagine wanting to live almost literally *on* the tracks, with train noise, crossing bells, and station announcements going 24/7. Additionally, traffic is already heavy on Glenview Road, and adding both residential and retail traffic there would make it worse. This project *might* work somewhere else, but not at this location.

We need to consider thr ewsidents of Glenview who will be affected by this development. There are enough trafic tie-ups in this area now.

Glenview needs to develop with walk -ability and bike ability in mind. Safety of students walking to and from OLPH needs to be built into the design. Train crossings are already so dangerous, this needs to be especially thoughtful.

This is a busy corner right at a rail road crossing and sometimes it's hard to see traffic coming out from this corner and also Metra passengers that rush across the streets without watching traffic, adding this massive building will further impede sight line of traffic, both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Please re-consider the proposal

Being a former resident from this area of Glenview, I think that building a monstrosity of these proportions would be amongst the most poorly conceived things to happen in Glenview or any of our surrounding suburbs that I have ever seen. This building reminds me of that eyesore , overbuilt building on the West side of Edens across from Old Orchard -Optima. It will be a huge traffic snarl and public safety hazard plopped down at an already overly congested intersection with the Metra railroad tracks. What next? Let’s widen Glenview Rd to 3 lanes in each direction and make our quaint little train station into a Comutrr center with multi deck parking. Perhaps Jimmy Baker can come back and buy OLPH and turn it into a megaChurch. Let’s tear down Heinens and put a Walmart and Sams Club in. I cannot believe that anybody in their good sense would ever believe a building of this size would benefit our community in any way let alone be in the best interests of traffic flow and public safety. Say how are the plans going to add three more floors to the library and what about a Menards across the street from the library wher the strip mall is with drive through pick up access for large trucks? Have we run a study lately ? Let’s get another one of those. if we keep going, maybe someday we will grow into the slightly oversized command headquarters for our Police Department. Oh , that’s right, somebody realized that snafu and with a few modifications it was able to envelope our Village Hall. Is this Chicago or a nice, small suburban community located slightly north of Chicago. Do we want to emulate towns like Schaumburg, Rosemont, and Elk Grove Village or stay with the original tone set by the original families who came to this area. What part of this building’s design is in keeping with the overall beauty and tranquility that we are know for. We pride ourselves in places like the Grove, countless Parks, a beautiful new Ice and Community Center, a well planned and thought out G

How are people going to park and get out of there when traffic is all backed up from the trains all day long? And a little boy who was on the honor roll was killed years ago for going around the train gates. If a supposedly SMART kid was killed, what about the less intelligent kids and adults safety? It's already a logistical nightmare for the stores on Glenview Rd. and now you're going to do it AGAIN. We have all these vacant stores in strip malls with parking lots, why don't you work on filling THOSE first? How many times a year do you block off Glenview Rd. for various things like Holiday parades, Homecoming parades, now the Blocktoberfest??? We don't need anymore traffic problems.

This proposal is far to big for the plot of land.

This development will have a permanent negative impact on both the downtown and the surrounding neighborhood. Consideration needs to be made for the local residents and homeowners in proportion to the impact this will have on their property values and daily life.

I strongly oppose the proposal. It is not in the interest of the village of Glenview and it’s residents and businesses.

I strongly oppose this development. It breaks faith with D1 zoning. Why participate in those hearings if the commitment to those regulations is out the window in short order.

I support low density, high value single family home construction OR two-floor max, retail groumd level, ultra high cost, high square footage single family condos on second/top floor. I would further argue that any form of residential must a have one parking space per 700 square feet of residence.

This building is a monstrosity and cannot go forward. It would be a blight on our community, and utterly ruin our safe and quiet neighborhood. The building is an eyesore, and would drastically increase traffic in an area concentrated with school children and churchgoers. The development of this building would be absolutely reprehensible.
