We need to revitalize the downtown area but this is too large of a housing complex- parking and traffic will be a nightmare!!

We live right by the library. This building is too large for the area, the height should be at least one floor less. I am concerned with parking issues and further congested traffic on Glenview Rd. I shave noticed throughout Glenview our roads are much more congested than even five or ten years ago. That is due to all the apartment complexes that have been built. Would prefer a building like this closer to Glenview and Waukegan. This plan is definitely more esthetic than the ugly one built at Church and Glenview Rd.

We have to many rental units not being rented and other developments with high vacancies. This will be a disaster.

I've been a resident of Glenview for 61 years I was raised here Glenview is gone nothing but downhill I had to fight the village for the fence along Lake Street you guys are so stupid you put the fence on top of the electric now you're talkin a 5-story building we're Best hardware is you guys are destroying this place me personally I'm moving out of here you've destroyed the village so bad you don't know how to run a vehicle think about those kids think of what might happen The trains zipping by a little kid guess her little foot caught in between the track which how many times have you read down the crosswalks to begin with cuz you didn't know how to do it the first time correct take it from the people the people understand what you guys have been doing I'm sorry to say you put up five stories apartments you don't need it you won't find parking the traffic will be crazy this is why I cannot live in Glenview anymore everybody knows my name here they knew my parents I can't wait see what happens cuz if this happens everybody's going to end up moving out and it won't be anybody's fault except the village of Glenview village trustees all they're looking for is more money the hell with the money keep it small just do a couple stores no more big deal leave some parking so some people can park cars there's nowhere to park downtown I'm scared even go to gusteau's restaurant because the parking you can't even park in that parking lot then in the nighttime just go to the next store and sit down and enjoy a meal it's crazy you don't need that building especially five stories tall just going to be so many accidents I'm done

The proposed development will create a dangerous intersection and negatively impact the downtown area.

I feel this project would be detrimental to our surrounding neighborhood and to downtown Glenview in general. We don’t need more housing in Glenview’s downtown area. We need restaurants or even a youth center!

Traffic is a horrible and unsafe mess at that intersection, not to mention the fact that we don’t need more retail space in that area - another grocery store - ridiculous! I give the most blame to our representatives, not the developer. In my opinion, they are enablers, who can stop this if they forego their own personal interests. BTW I don’t live near that intersection, but pass it once or twice almost daily.

This project is not a good idea for glenview and it’s residents

Absolutely hideous! A nice restaurant and a few shops would do the trick in that spot.

As a frequent pedestrian I am concerned about increased traffic at an already congested intersection. Also proposed building looks overbearing and heavy on the size of the property.

Glenview is already over crowded. If this project goes through, I would move out of Glenview after being a resident and paying taxes to Glenview for over 50 years.

Would rather see restaurants and stores to entice people to get off the train and visit Glenview.

This project will create issues with the train tracks. It is also too dense a use for the site. I would propose that if they turned the building around so that the courtyard faces Glenview road, people could see the trains better.

Agree this is the wrong project for the site. Should not b a commercial site not apartments

It is already a nightmare to get through this area. Plus, it would add additional dangers to the children that travel back and forth to school and the library. Please reconsider your decision.

I'm glad you added a picture of what is being proposed. It is massive
