Curious where moving vans, bakery delivery trucks, and various UPS/Fed Ex/ Amazon etc delivery trucks will be parking.

I feel that this out of scale development destroys the feel of Glenview. Look at a vibrant downtown community like Wilmette. They achieved that without building a condo structure such as this one. We have had so many consultants try to think of ways to improve our downtown, and this is the best we can do?
The placement of this building right next to the already congested train tracks seems like it will make people want to avoid Glenview Road, rather than flock to it. Please go back to the planning stage to come up with less dense housing that includes something that will draw people to our downtown area.

I strongly opposed the project. Traffic is very bad already in this area. This is not what downtown Glenview needs. Let's bring a smaller condo building and more retail space

This development is way too dense, right on top of a busy intersection, will take away convenient parking from Metra commuters, will add lots more congestion where there is a bottleneck already. Scale it back, please

Why are the commissioners and trustees trying to destroy our community. Listen to your constituents. WE DON’T WANT THIS! The Willows is fighting the dense commercial development at Willow-Pfingsten. GWProperties will be creating dangerous traffic patterns and cutting down a hundred trees to build tenant stores we don’t need. These two developers have monstrosities in Chicago at the protests of those neighborhoods. The greed has got to stop. Our representatives are ignoring us and I want to know why.

This proposed development clearly OVERWHELMS a downtown area already OVERWHELMED by the newest development on the south side of Glenview Road.

I live on the West side of Glenview. Trying to go East when an Amtrak/Metra train is stopped is a nightmare. I can only see a major problem. It needs to be developed- but not a large structure. I am still upset that the village purchased the property for 2.25 and sold it for 1.8. Somebody had a connection? This was my tax dollars padding the pockets of someone in the Drake Group!

This development will not benefit our community. It only adds more traffic and overcrowds our town.

Too residentially dense. Not enough street level activation/retail/common space

I've lived in glenview since 2001 and have seen it go from this vibrant community to one that sucks to live in. Thank the corrupt village officials for all of this. They have taken a nice thing and destroyed it bit by bit. No business in it's right mind should set up shop at any of the retail locations. Theres a reason glenview is failing and it's because of terrible decisions made by town leaders. Developing that land into that abomination is another one of them

This development seriously affects traffic congestion to an already congested area. It does not bring any value to a Downtown Glenview which in reality does not really exist. We have had empty storefronts and empty rentals in the area and cannot see how this development will further this goal. Seriously look at the intersection of Pine and Glenview Rd adjacent to the train and tell us how traffic will be managed?

This proposal has the "cart in front of the horse". Downtown isn't in need of more residents, it needs more interesting retail/dining destinations that draw existing residents to it. This proposal is all problem and limited benefit to existing residents.

I agree the building needs to be scaled down so it fits well with surrounding buildings and downtown overall while including in the plan space for multiple businesses (retail shops, cafes, etc.), does not increase traffic, allows for wider pedestrian sidewalks and keeping original trees already in place - all to help revitalize Glenview downtown area.

I want the site developed to help revitalize downtown which is still recovering from loss of foot-traffic from prior GV decisions like Post-office move and Glen development but believe the plan needs to be scaled down(not so tall/so many units) and better address traffic and parking issues.

Agree, as a new resident on Glenview I agree that this building would add a lot more traffic from the tenants to an already busy street. Need to add infrastructure to digest current stream of people let alone adding more to it. Do not like idea at all.
