Seven residential areas encompassing several hundred homes will have their property values for resell lowered if this facility is put through - will the City of Beaverton/Washington County provide diminution of value to our property and home values as consequence or will civil action be needed.
Has the City of Beaverton Police or Washington County Sheriff's office liassoned with law and emergency services for the other locations this medical provider has to compare before and after the calls for service ?
Has the City of Beaverton/Washington County prepared their insurance provider with notice of intent of this land transfer that will result in a challenge to public safety directly documented as having precedence in the break-in, assault of a minor and sexual assault of a neighbor of another facility owned and operated by the same medical provider ?

Not only are two elementary schools in close proximity but so are Mt View Middle School and Aloha Huber K-8. Along with these school are a multitude of private day care facilities located within the adjacent neighborhoods.

Transitional housing for single adults with severe mental illness with no oversight and option to use or not use their medication and attend treatment does not belong by two elementary schools! Children deserve a safe environment and a county that respects them and understands they are our most vulnerable members of society!

The facility site is too close to 2 elementary schools and in the center of large dense single family home areas. Safety is top concern. LD new screen process only is a promise but not a proven practice to guarantee safety. Our community can not be an experimental site for LD new screen process and service models. It is too risky.

Too close to schools. 100% guarantee some kids will be scared at some point and always an increased chance that even without a previous hx someone does harm.

This housing is too close to 2 schools and a church. It is irresponsible of WC and LD to expose the people of this neighbor hood to mentally ill patient who will have no supervision. There is the potential for these patients to act out in harmful ways and it is unacceptable for LD to be absolved of responsibility and accountability for those patients.

This facility is too close to our schools! We already have a transitional housing facility in our neighborhood & new buildings allocated for low income housing nearby. Unsupervised transitional housing is an unwelcomed risk to our neighborhood.

To close to schools. I have had experience with a mentally ill person who was to interested in the children at a school and he was flashing them to get a reaction. Mentally ill people deserve chances, but certainly not around children who can be scarred for life. I was myself.

-emergency response time to this residential location is longer vs a more urban setting, in case of "incident".
Just simple too dangerous to have near too many schools, it does not fit into this very residential neighborhood, you can't fit a square peg in a round hole.

This is not the best location for a mental health care facility. There are no safety guarantees for my children nor my cummunity, unacceptable. My fears were not addressed at the town hall meeting, I feel I left with more concerns than I came with.
