I say no to transitional housing because I want to keep my property values up and I am selfish. Talk about "safety" is flat out ignorance or an attempt to mask selfishness. Really, guys, it's ok to be selfish. I am.

No supervision No way it will be good for homeless and their neighbors

This type of facility does not belong in a neighborhood like ours. Washington County has plenty of other sites and this one should be the park it was intended to be.

We just moved into the neighborhood and will have a child attending a school 2 blocks away from this proposed transitional housing . I do not feel this is the right location for this type of housing, especially since it is not supervised. Please consider another location with support for these individuals and will not put our children and residence living close by at risk.

This is not the correct location for this type of housing because there are three elementary schools nearby.

I understand the need for this type of housing, but this location is completely inappropriate due to its proximity to elementary schools and a church.

My wife and I just recently moved in. And it would break my heart to see transitional housing in the path of where my kids have to walk to the elementary school.

This is not the correct location for this type of housing. Particularly unsupervised. I realize that you need housing for these people but location has to be one of the top considerations.

This is the wrong location for this type of facility. Grocery stores, doctors, clinics are far away. This is family oriented neighborhood. You aren't even putting families in this location.

I very much support helping those in need. Children our our most vulnerable and must be protected. Please relocate this transitional housing to an area that is more appropriate. Thaank you.

This is a very bad idea! We have 3 schools near by and this will drop neighbouring house values! Put this somewhere else and not near a neighborhood or schools.

I understand we need to help but the location is just not right. I have encountered Patients with mental illness at my job for 26 years. Even if they take their medications, they still can pose a risk to anyone. How much more if they live on their own in a quite neighborhood? Very poor judgement . Luke dorf is not even considering the effect this will have on many families with young children. Just not fair. I will not feel safe anymore even during daytime. Again, not the right place for transitional housing for mentally ill with 2 schools nearby and single home families. No to this project.

Doesn't seem like a great idea with all of the children in the area.

I think putting this housing next to schools & homes with children is a Really Bad Idea. I agree that we need to help people move forward with their lives, but not where they could possibly do harm to a child. No matter how small a risk.
