Chesterfield County Police Department Neighborhood Watch Petition
We, the residents of Stoney Glen Homeowners Association agree to be members of the Neighborhood Watch Program when it is formed. By signing this petition, we also agree to make an effort to participate in the program and to attend the start-up meeting upon notification. (We need 60% of our residents willing to sign the petition before the first meeting.) This is for Stoney Glen residents only (Chester, VA).

The plan, which is supported by the Chesterfield County PD, does not include ANY active patrol. Tom Green
Went to the neighborhood watch meeting ...to clarify, this is NOT walking around doing walking checks. It is keeping a watchful eye etc. just want to confirm that to those who may be weary to sign thinking they need to petrol on foot.
Does everyone have the same understanding of how neighborhood watch works? My understanding is a constant watchful eye of people coming and going in our neighborhood 24/7. No walking the neighborhood is required as Dave Brower seems to think. Please clarify and post for all to see.
Crime would be much less of a problem if our neighbors simply got out and met each other. Then we would watch each other's backs.
I am usually up all night reading. Unable to help with walking the neighborhood due to physical limitations.
