The regeneration of the local area relies on good transport links. Step free access should be a basic requirement, rather than something which needs to be petitioned for.

There is not a question of whether this should be done - it should be more a question of how soon can you get it done!

I use the station everyday but struggle to access the station with my small children and buggy. It is also frustrating to see disabled residents struggling with the stairs everyday!

as someone who has long term lung problems, the stairs at Stoneleigh station leave me extremely breathless.

As a parent and a childcarer, I have had to rely on members of the public to help me carry buggies or hold hands of children to get up and down the stairs. If no one is around then I have struggled by myself which is not practical or safe.

it would make life easier for the disabled communities within Stoneleigh Station area as well as parents with young children trying to get prams/pushchairs on to the station or across the railway tracks from one side of Stoneleigh to the other.

It is essential regardless of cost. The number of people I see and help or others do happens regularly.

i agree with this request as there are far to many steps at this station making access for only the most fittest of people

Expectation of ease of access has risen so much since the station was constructed and now needs to be addressed and implemented

With the increase in diseases' like Parkinson's, there is a need to ensure that access is made readily available to help everyone affected by disability!

My husband suffers from RA and can find climbing the numerous steps very painful. Worcester Park is now a much better option but parking is difficult.

I find it hard to believe that it is being made difficult for so many people to use this station.

An excellent initiative. Step free access would benefit so many people and their families in the area.

Lots of stations need this. Do it now for all of them.
