My days of battling with a pushchair are over but I do feel for any moms, people with mobility issues and elderly who have to struggle with the access to the station on a regular basis.

As a mother of two little ones I use a pushchair daily and step free access is completely necessary.

Strange that we still have stations with no proper access for pushchairs, wheelchairs etc.

An excellent proposal. More and more people struggle for access. Step free would be a valuable asset to the community.

Each time I have used Stoneleigh station I have struggled with my luggage because of the number and steepness of the stairs. It really is time to introduce step free access for elderly travellers like myself and also young parents with pushchairs. The fact that the community is divided by this obstacle makes it more urgent.

We need a lift at Stoneleigh for parents and disabled residents to access the train to keep them independent

I can't believe converting portion of the the steps into ramp can cost 2m, you just need a skilled person with cement. Surely this could be done sooner than 2019

As a mom I would love step free access. And it would benefit so many people. The mums, the aged, the disabled.

Without lift access, using the station with a buggy and travelling on my own is incredibly difficult. A lift would be very well used at this station.

I cannot currently use Stoneleigh station as I can't get the baby in her buggy up the stairs

See so many elderly people and patents like myself struggling at the station and with the traffic so bad in the area, I think there are a huge range of benefits to making the station and therefore the train service available to all.
Thanks.
Badly needed!
