Stonebridge Ranch has three communities with Craftsman designs. Dark colors should be allowed as they are true to craftsman history. More than one trim color should also be allowed as contrasting and complimentary paint colors are part of the fundamental essence of craftsman style.

I have spent the last few days walking through our neighborhood looking at the homes that inspired this fight. It is clear that the current rules ignore the history of our architecture and I am working to gather the historical documentation the board needs to see.

Seeing this much support confirms that I am not the only one who feels stifled by the current rules and wants our homes to actually reflect the craftsman style. The momentum behind this request is overwhelming and gives me the confidence to finally present our case to the HOA board.

Great care was taken by the original developers of Stonebridge Ranch with regard to the Craftsmen communities color palettes. As an original homeowner, I should be able to re-paint my home within the color system my home was purchased. (Multiple, tasteful colors). Please consider these neighborhoods original vision. Thank you.

Craftsman homes cannot be compared to traditional brick homes and should not be restricted to the same rules. People chose this community exactly for the reason you are denying the paint colors ‘individuality’. An HOA should enhance neighborhoods not restrict them.

When I purchased my home we used a historic color consultant and changed the color scheme of our home from 2 colors to 4 colors that were all approved by the HOA. To preserve the unique features of our craftsmen style homes I fully support allowing multiple colors on our homes.

We have 5 colors on our craftsman’s style home in Stonebridge ranch. Our base color is red barn door. It is dark and beautiful and was approved by HOA

Regents Park, Mayberry Park and Freedom Park are unique to Stonebridge because of their Americana Craftsman Style. They warrant 3 or more color changes that are historically acceptable to the Craftsman design.

We were cited as well for having 2 different trim colors. The compliance officer even said it looks very nice but was giving us a violation notice because it broke the rules even though the paint scheme is legal. So even though it looks beautiful we are detracting from the neighborhood aesthetic per the letter. I mean seriously???!!!

There is no reason this paint combo shouldn't not be approved.
