Stocksfield Golf Club is applying to the Sport England and Lottery backed "Inspired Facilities" Fund in October for a substantial grant to improve our Clubhouse.

Since it was built in 1985 it has had minimal investment resulting in tired and worn out facilities.

Our aim is to use this grant to revitalise underused rooms, improve energy efficiency, upgrade the kitchen area and decorate public rooms.

This will be for the benefit of members, their guests  and the local community groups and businesses that use the Clubhouse. The grant will be important in creating a sustainable future for the Golf Club helping to encourage new users and people to join, especially Junior golfers - girls and boys.

However the grant application is a competitive process and we are not guaranteed success. The more support we can show for our bid the better our chances.
