We, the undersigned residents of the St. Louis area, petition your professional soccer leagues to award a franchise to our city, a prime location for a professional team.
We believe St. Louis is an ideal location for a MLS, NASL or USL Pro franchise:
St. Louis is the 18th largest market in the United States. Nearly 3 million people live in the St. Louis area.A ready-made fan base already exists. More than 40,000 kids play organized soccer and many times that number of adults has played the sport at some level.St. Louis has a long and rich soccer tradition dating back to the 1870s. St. Louis has produced generation after generation of native-born players who have reached the highest international levels of the sport. St. Louis teams have won 89 national championships.Thirty-nine members of the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame are from St. Louis or spent parts of their careers in St. Louis.As signs of our good faith and of our support for a franchise, each of us pledges to purchase at least one season ticket to the team's first five seasons of operation.

we are almost at that 250 mark and honestly seeing the count climb is getting me so hyped because the league needs to see how much we truly care about soccer here. i was looking at those old records of our national titles again while drinking coffee and it just hit me that we really have to show them this passion right now before the next meeting happens.

I am looking at the count and we are just hovering right under that first hundred mark which is honestly kind of driving me crazy because I know we have way more soccer fans than that in this city. If you could just ping one person who loves the game as much as we do maybe we can finally push this over the edge and show the league we mean business since they really do watch these totals.

Andrew Haines and Tony Glavin need to get together and start a USL Pro League NOW!!!
Would love to see a stadium near Lumiere Place in Laclede's Landing. Great views of the Arch and both the new 70 bridge and the MLK bridge. Would love to see a lit stadium like the one in Munich that changes colors, and the size of FG Groningen's stadium in the Netherlands.
Been waiting for this forever. The city is ready for pro soccer and the atmosphere would be insane downtown.
St. Louis is a soccer town through and through. It is time we finally get a team that reflects our history.
PLEASE BRING A TEAM HERE. My family would be there every weekend.
We'll have amazing supporting groups.

The economic impact of a St Louis professional soccer team would be immense. From several highly competitive College programs around the area to the Lions, Menace, & Demize to youth programs that win national championships seemingly yearly, St Louis has the built in infrastructure to host another sports venue in Downtown areas as well as the soccer culture that has been brewing for over 80 years since StL native competed in World Cup and SLU came to be a powerhouse in NCAA. St Louis will support a Profesional Soccer Team & can built from within as much purchased abroad, which provides the greatest economic impact locally. Thanks for you time & consideration.
