I have been spending my nights writing letters to board members to explain that eighteen years of being clean should count for something. It is frustrating to face these inconsistent rules when I have proven my life has changed since those mistakes in my past.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me that my past does not define the person I have worked so hard to become. I am deeply moved that so many people understand why uniform standards are necessary for those of us trying to move forward.

This is totaly unfair. My husband paid his debt to society a long time ago. Let the man work.
My record is 22 years old. Why am I still being treated like a criminal? I have worked hard to change my life.
EVERY COUNTY DOES SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND IT IS A MESS. FIX THE LAW.
Ridiculous that I can work in one county but they wont let me step foot in the next one. Clear the record already.
People deserve a second chance once they get clean.
