St Kentigern Hospice in St Asaph needs our help!
The Hospice is currently under threat due to financial issues and because of this, decisions have been made to make staff redundant, reduce the number of inpatient beds and possibly close the day unit or reduce its activity.
The hospice aims to meet the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of patients and offers support to their carers. St Kentigern Hospice aims to improve quality of life, independence and assist patients to preserve their individuality and self respect.
We need to show the powers that be that this hospice needs to stay open, and needs to continue running the excellent service in which it provides to the area of Conwy and Denbighshire, in it's full capacity!
This hospice has a fantastic reputation and the staff work incredibly hard to maintain such a caring and supportive service throughout Conwy and Denbighshire, even throughout all this negativity.

St Kentigern helped my father when he was at his worst. You cannot just cut these beds. It would be a disgrace to the whole community.
KEEP IT OPEN. What about the families who rely on this place everyday? Absolute joke.
The staff there are saints. They need more funding not cuts. Where is the money going if not to vital services like this?
Please dont let this happen. My nan spent her last weeks there and the care was amazing. We need this place in St Asaph.
so sad to hear this. the hospice does so much for local people. hope they find the funds soon.

Disgusted by this news. How are they supposed to manage with even less beds? Sort it out.
