Please give the people involved in this cruelty to an innocent creature a maximum sentence. They should be in jail.

This monster principal should be punished accordingly to his cruelty. The fine and implementing an animal protection program is not enough for this horrible creature - he should be sent to prison.

These people need punishing for the cruelty inflicted on this lovely animal who just wanted to be loved. I hope he will be.

Both the principal and the janitors should be given harsh sentences. How could anyone treat an animal already suffering from neglect that kind of cruelty. There should be zero tolerance for animal cruelty period. More disgst is felt knowing one is a leader in education and two of his minions didn't have the moral rectitude to take a stand. Thank goodness for the kitchen cleaner, who was the dog hero.

i can't believe this monster is educating South Africa's future. He should comply with all penalties set forth. Additionally to fire the worker who called the animal welfare group is unbelievable. That woman that called so that Lily could be saved is a hero. Parents of the students should ban together to have this evil human being fired as principal and the worker should absolutely be reinstated with back earnings and an award for her wonderful act

This deed cannot be left unpunished, and a semi melted out sentence sends a very bad message to the community and nation- we are all above the law! please follow up and make an example of this man, force the imposition of the suspended part of the sentence and ensure the implementation of an animal protection program. Lets send the RIGHT message to the children and community

His arrogance and disregard for animal cruelty and suffering are staggering. He was found guilty and must pay the full fine and institute the school program without any further delays or be sent to jail.

Shocking!! This should be used as an opportunity to highlight the point that his punishment does not fit the crime. He should be made an example of and sent to jail!!
