Sticky or not sticky..that is the question!

I love my new machine, but upset that my mat has lost its tackiness after only a few uses. Please help to get this sorted Brother.

I just love my machine, but like everyone else, just after using the mat a few times it becomes unsticky. Please try to remedy this.

I am new to this and find what every person is saying about the mats surely these mats should of been tested before going on sale

Cm700 for Christmas mat not sticky before new year! Surely you can remedy this. We all pay enough for the snc

The sheer lack of availability to purchase cutting mats is disgusting. My machine stands for long periods of time unusable. Let other stockists be able to sell them and fast because while you continue to give exclusive rights to C&C everybody is losing out. Sort it out.

The mats need to have a glue that remains sticky longer. THis possible as when I restick my mat it lasts a lot longer than a new mat

I also object to finally being able to get replacements and the useless postage courier u uses loses them. On them have to wait for you to investigate a d am still waiting. Customer service in general is rubbish and needs improving

Mats and blades never in stock and life of both poor I have had to buy glue to rest8ck mats and the blade can blunt before the project I'm working on is finished and I'm talking about a card for a birthday

I loved the look of the machine when I saw it demonstrated on Create and Craft a few years ago. It looked amazing but I was disappointed with the blades and the mat. The tips of the blades are so easily damaged and I struggle to get the card to stick to the mats. I have tried every method suggested but, if there is a slight gap anywhere between the card and the mat, the blade does not cut through. My machine is rarely used these days as I cannot afford to keep replacing blades and mats, especially with the Create and Craft postage costs on top, even if they have them in stock. It is also wrong that they should be the only UK stockists!

I am sick of the mats not being sticky you have to retack them after only a few times, i have even tried the new mats and they are as hopeless as the original mats Ann

Love the machine but the mats and blades leave a lot to be desired.....as does Brother support and customer service. Brother, you need to take a lesson from your competition. Or maybe Brother needs more competition in the form of someone else supplying us with what we need. GET IT TOGETHER BROTHER!!

The technology is out there. I own 4 different electronic cutting machines. I treat all of my craft equipment with the greatest respect. The Brother accessories i.e. Mats and Blades in comparison to Xyron, Silhouette and Cricut are expensive and of a poorer quality. I have and regularly use the blades that came with the machines, they are > 4 years old. My current mats are >2 years old. The Brother mats barely last more than 5 full cuts. I'm onto my 2nd blade and my machine is <1 year old and not used as regularly as I'd like! This is disgraceful in comparison. Your machine is FANTASTIC but the consumables are not worthy.

Totally agree. My mats are in constant use and lose their stickiness almost immediately.
