New trial for both. So many loose ends, so many unanswered questions. Makes ya sick how a judicial system that's supposed to protect you, fails you so miserably. Feel bad for both families effected. I hope they are both granted a new fair trial and the wrongs are righted. Free the Avery's

Why isn't anyone looking into the roommate and ex-boyfriend and those closest to Theresa Halbach? There's possible motive. Seems like everyone is hell-bent on seeing the Averys go down. Since everyone is grasping at straws they should grasp at the ones that link people she knows to her last few days and develop that time line. Check every alibi. Ask her closest friends more in depth about the suspicious calls she was getting. The defence was right to follow the paper trail but it could have been broader, more detailed. Also, they should question the integrity of the DA, Sheriff and other law officers involved. I bet 36 million that they are not squeaky clean and that this isn't the first time they've corrupted and tainted this community. Keep investigating.

Horrified by what has happened to Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey... I'm truly sick to my stomach over the injustice they've endured!

I signed the petition I am from Kentucky I deleted my first comment because it added that I was from the wrong state. However I did want to say that I find this documentary truly disturbing. I can't believe the injustices that have taken place in Wisconsin. I can't imagine what Teresa's family has went through actually all the family members on either side and I feel for them all my heart goes out to them, but there are to many things that do not add up in both cases. Please grant these two men new trials by not doing so will only send more doubt and suspicion through every person that watches this story of the corruption of our country's legal system. I would hope that would be the last message anyone who is in a position to uphold the law and find truth would want to send.

This case is crazy I don't see how either of these men are behind bars based on the lack of physical evidence, I think they should have a new trial

There are so many unsettling things regarding the handling of this case it is scary to say the least. We allow this to happen to our own citizens?

At this point, even if these two victims of an unjust system did do anything unlawful (which I think is clearly not the case) the fact that this case was dealt with in the manner it was in the United States is infuriating, confusing, and a breach of everything that should make up an ethical justice system. This is shameful. They deserve a right to a just trial in the least. All of the conspirators in this case deserve to be imprisoned. This system is so flawed the verdicts do not mean a thing.

Why not review it? It just looks suspicious that they won't!

I sign this petition post viewing the Making of a Murderer. Even if Avery and Dassey are guilty they deserve new trials. I also believe other people with motive opportunity and access to Teresa H. Should be looked at.

I cannot believe the joke of a trial they had for both Steve Avery and his nephew. How was this kind of evidence even accepted in the courts of Wisconsin. If these men do not get the re trial that they deserve than how can ANY citizen of the United States trust the system!!!! This angers me and makes me so sad to hear this we need people in this system that can be trusted and unfortunately these men didn't have that so please this needs to be relooked at. My condolences to the family of Teresa helbach but them as a family didn't even question the kind of evidence I as a family member on their side would want to know why there wasn't anyone else being looked at and why their main focus from the beginning was the Avery family with the poor evidence that was presented!

The world is now watching, due the recent movie around this trial. Please do the right thing, and grant them another, with a jury selected from outside your state
