At the very least, both of these men deserve new trials. This case is literally permeated with reasonable doubt . Teresa's family also deserves to know the truth about how she died and to have true justice.

I just finished the documentary and I feel so sorry for that family
The biggest sin in America I think is to be born poor
If their names were Steven and Brendan Trump or Gates they would never be in prison.
Sorry for my English, it's so sad; wow Wiscosin justice system you are a disgrace to humanity.
A team of policemen, and a pervert DA perfect.
good luck

This entire case against these two men saddens and scares me. To think that the system we were taught was protecting us, could carry out such injustice over and over again is unfathomable. If it happened to them, it could happen to any one of us. This must be corrected.

My brother shared this story with me. I am horrified. I am disgusted. It is clear that these men should be allowed a true, fair & impartial trial outside of the state of Wisconsin. The so-called police, DA & judge involved in these cases should be the ones in prison for life.

Wisconsin Supreme Court, Greetings from South Texas. My Wife to be is from Wisconsin. She has not seen this series yet and was not aware of any of this. I did watch however and I speak for both of us to kindly request that you hear arguments, on both cases, for granting a new trial. This would be both proper and appropriate. It appeared to me that in the young man's trial there was a complete lack of untainted evidence and in the uncle (Steven)'s trial, what little evidence they did present, seemed to contradict the staging of events proposed by the prosecution. This isn't Mexico guys but frankly I feel safer there after seeing this.

Anything I can do to help please let me know!
Lenk, Petersen, Herman and Colborn ..not to mention Kratz should be rotting in jail right now. Every day these men are living their lives freely (and Steven and Brendan are not) is a day too many. We need to act and now!

It is absolutely incredible what is happening to these people and this family. Is there no justice in the state of WI? Well I guess it starts with your corrupt governor and goes down from there. SHAME on your judicial branch. So blessed not to live in your state. That is how things happen in Russia, never thought it can happen in the US and it is 2015.

Completely dumb struck and to be frank, scared. If this is so easy for our justice system to do just because they don't like someone, what make me or you safe from finding ourselves in prison for a heinous crime just for spite. Long ago I wanted to be an attorney, when I was a little girl. I thought they could make a difference and I would make enough money to establish a community, much like they are doing now for autism and others alike, for the homeless so they could have a chance at life. I later grew up and quickly realized how curropt and deceitful they could be. That's when I became interested in the field of forensics. I knew that in that line of work, although it doesn't pay as much as most attorneys, I could make a difference. Now it doesn't seem like any of that would be possible when faced up against criminals who work for the justice system. It's down right nauseating.
