Please give Mr. Avery and Brandon a fair new trial. He and his family deserve some peace. Shame on the Manitowoc PD. You are the real criminals, for causing this family no chance at happiness..so sad. He already served 18 years for a crime he did not commit...take that as time served and let him go!

This is heartbreaking and disgraceful. I know from 15 years of criminal investigations that cases like this are all too common. It is a fact that those charged with dispensing justice are sometimes capable of horrific criminal acts.
