Stepping Stone Landscaping Complaint

I am signing because of the water that accumulates by the dog disposal bin on pastel lane as well as for the weeds outside our fence and the water that builds up at our fence from poor drainage.

We pay too much for our HOA fees to have such poorly maintained landscaping-or the lack thereof!

Entrance to stepping stone from ridge gate is not well maintained . Trees are dying .

It would be great if they could pull a weed. Some of the plants that were planted in the parks have been completely overtaken by weeds. Also the drainage issues in Winding Path really need to be resolved. The standing water has been there for several years now. I drive through Meridian Village to get to work and their landscaping always looks fantastic. They pull weeds, replace mulch, and keep the grass green.

We also have several dead plants that need to be pulls throughout the community. For as much as we pay in hoa a month our landscaping should be up to par.

Something needs to happen!!! About time

The common area between Pastel Point is unacceptable. As we paid a premium for our lot my expection is this will be resolved or we will pursue options.

The landscaped area surrounding the path that connects Touchstone Point and Stepping Stone Circle looks terrible. The majority of the bushes are dead, weeds are everywhere, areas of dirt should be covered with rocks but they aren't and the "native" grass is weeds. Nothing else. Last year I mentioned this "native" area to the HOA lady and she gave me the same speech with we need to give it time which is ridiculous. It's been multiple years and I am tired of looking at 3 foot tall weeds in a dirt bed in an area that supposedly should be native grasses. This area should have been fixed after the homes were built but nothing has been done.

Please fix our park!

The weeds in the open space behind the homes on Pastel Point reach over 3 feet in height each summer before they get mowed. This is our 3rd summer in our home and I shouldn't have to continually ask for it to be mowed each time that it needs to be. I have been told that we only get 3 mows per growing season in this area but I have yet to see more than two mowings per season in this area.

There are various areas within the community both under development and HOA Common Areas that are not being maintained to expectations of homeowners. Sunburst Park – park was first scheduled to open on July 4, 2016 and then opened in September 2016. In its current state it does not demonstrate it is in any state to be transferred to HOA this fall. The only time it appears that people perform any maintenance to the park is if someone points out concern. There are constant irrigation issues including stuck valves, broken heads and broken irrigation lines. On multiple days there have been excessive water (6 – 8hrs +) due to stuck valves, accidentally leaving on etc. Homes that back to the park are constantly dealing with weeds, mud and debris due to the constant in development of the area. One would expect it to be much further along versus telling homeowners it is a multi year process and be patient. Planting dead plants that can only be replaced once during warranty period is concerning. There are many plants that were near death when planted. A great deal of homeowners that back to Sunburst are no longer excited and do not enjoy the view of the weeds and mud. Common Areas under builder development on Stepping Stone Circle by Sunburst and Stonewalk Collections – excessive weeds in the turf and rock areas, weed maintenance did not occur in a timely manner so it is now out of control. Planting dead plants that can only be replaced once during warranty period is concerning. There are many plants that were near death when planted. Landscaping on Ridgegate and at Main community entrance – Does not meet the expectations of homeowners due to dead grass, areas not handled with proper upkeep. There is sod that needs to be replaced and not putting on the contractors that were responsible for the irrigation system not working is concerning. The empty lots owned by Shea next to the model homes are a disgrace. Shea/HOA put very stringent guidelines for how lots need to be maintained and fencing stained. The HOA militantly enforces these rules on homeowners, why is Shea exempt? These lots need to be cleared of all the weeds and the fences stained.

We are very disappointed by the consistently poor landscaping work throughout our community & it is affecting the usability & property values that residents were promised. We were also very disappointed to have had completely dead bushes planted in our yard last September & were told that they would not be replaced until the end of this planting season, leaving us to either pay for replacements or our own or live with dead shrubs in our front yard all summer. Our HOA fees are some of the highest in the his area & there is no excuse for things to look this bad.

It's an eyesore , located right behind our house . I'd like more green and flowers like the other park in the community

I am concerned that the use of native grasses in a park is an invitation for rattlesnakes in an area that children will play. Hidden in the grass, it would be possible for a child to be bitten. Rattlesnakes have been seen in the subdivision making this a real concern.
