The flora and fauna on Stepper Point need protection from this crazy sort of development. It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, has geological value and is partly an SSSI! why build here? Surely there are other sites that can serve the purpose of raising lobsters in a less contentious area?

This is an iconic headland with a massive amount of history. The quarry is in an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), part of it is a SSSI for its geological value and the flora and fauna both on the quarry floor and along the proposed access track are rich and diverse. I'm not convinced that all alternative sites have been explored.

The coastline in this area is of incredible beauty. It is unique to England. This is one of the few spots where the Ocean meets England. It is wild and raw and draws us to its beauty and drama. No buildings belong here.

Keep our coastline an area of outstanding beauty
Do not destroy the wealth of natural habitat for the sake of one species. There are plenty of other sites that could be used.

I agree with the hatchery, and I think its doing a great job but I feel it can do its work just as well from its present location.

I beleive this would be a detremental project which would inevitably disrupt a very special eco system that their environmental impact report doesnt even touch on. the damage out weighs the gain and there are far better places for their shed which would be impacted far less. Stepper point should be left alone. It doesnt create any real jobs for locals and seems pointless so one has to wonder what the real reason for building here is? As the group endeavours to repopulate our waters with Lobsters they understand eco impact and should then see our concerns.

How could anyone think of destroying such a beautiful place. It has a wonderful wildlife haven and it is unthinkable that it should be used for a commercial undertaking.
