Whenever i visit my girlfriends house, which is daily and as a person coming from st.ives and traveling to st.erth i always incounter that horrid disgusting smell and i cant see how it is allowed to be like this as tourists and locals going past that way to get to st.ives or hayle and personally i think it is theirfore wrong and gow this has been going on for so long is a absolute joke.. i also think it is in-humaine for the people and my girlfriend and her family and neighbours who live in close proxminity and i hope this gets sorted :)

Something needs to be done , I feel for these poor people, driving through is bad enough to endure . I didn't buy a house I liked in the area because of this problem .

The Sewage Works need to be managed and run efficiently especially as there are more developements in our area. At times, the smell of raw sewage is so strong and this is an unhealthy 'Nuisance'...something needs to be done!

Iwas born in St Erth and now live in Hayle. The stench when I drive along Hayle Causeway or into the village to visit family is so disgusting at times and getting worse. I agree with all those seeking to obtain an abatement order. People should not be living with the stench. We never had smells like that when we had earth toilets when I was a child!
