This is awful and the possibility of Chicken excrement from Nancegollan going to Splattenriden 90 tons per week is going to be bad.

Yep, agree with these comments. I grew up in Cornwall. The smell from the sewage works at St Erth has been intollerable for years. When i have visited friends in the area in recent years, there's still often a very foul odour. People should not have to live with this!

I've lived in St Erth for 5 years now and have recently moved towards water lane. The smell isn't as bad in this direction but occasionally we can smell it up here. It's absolutely disgusting that we have to continue to put up with this.

My family have had to put up with the stench for nearly 20 years. It comes into the house and makes it smell. SWW should give something back to our community for the last 40 years they have stunk the village out !! All they have given us is a pong.

It is appalling that this horrendous stench has gone on for so long spoiling peoples' daily (and nightly) lives at the most basic level. Animals wouldn't even accept living within range of the stench of their own species' waste!!

Time to stop the stench and let the villagers live a normal life stench free!!!!

We can't enjoy sitting in the garden. We can't leave window and doors open. Our grandchildren don't like visiting us because of the smell in the area.

I have grown up with the stench and often experience it when I visit my family. My Mum has lived there all of her life and most of my family still do. It's sickening to smell it when you are driving on the Hayle to St.Erth bypass!!

It's awful and embarrassing especially when we have holiday makers down, we should not have to live near that! I don't live in St Erth I am the 515 driver that goes through St Erth on the way to Marazion and Penzance. The stench stays on the bus for a while after going through i cannot imagine what its like for those poor people who live there.

I've smelt it many times when I've been at Wyevale Garden Centre, Lelant. It's disgusting. I spend my time there holding my nose when I'm outside looking around.
