Every year Universities bestow Honorary Degrees to people who are less deserving and with no formal link to the Institution or University themselves. Aberystwyth University do the right thing and award this Degree to one of your own who represented the University with distinction and honor.

Please award this to Stefan

Lovely guy who deserves his degree.

I have had the honour of meeting him on nights out, and he's been the highlight of many of my nights.

I did two masters at Aberystwyth (Interpol). I believe individuals like Stefan represent the university properly. I firmly believe it would be an honor to Aber to present him with this award after his death. It should not be this hard.

I believe that Stephen deserves to be awarded his degree, mental illness affects your grades and so despite him failing some modules I think he deserves it. Bring his family and his friends some peace.

If celebs can get one for just being famous stef can get one for actually making it to 3rd year.

I was in his maths modules in my first year. He worked so hard towards his degree. So many people fail modules but still graduate so I don't see why he can't?

As a student that narrowly failed some modules due to some awful personal circumstances, I was lucky enough to resist, but would I have been in a stable mental frame of mind, I would have succeeded first time. Steffens clearly had an imbalance in his life that made study very hard, however punishing him and his suffering family is shameful.

Please just do it.celebs get it for nothing. Aunty Leigh.

Stef was such a huge part of my 3 years here, he deserves to have his degree awarded to him for everything he did.
