Alumni 2001 I didn't know Stefan but it seems like a small thing that will mean an awful lot for his family.

I fully support the request that Stefan be awarded an honorary degree. His family deserve the recognition of all his hard work and 'above and beyond' contribution to the university.

He certainly deserves it considering all his sporting success under the universities name.

He deserves to be acknowledged, it's despicable to treat the memory of a student in such a manner.

This good made contributions that will be unrecognized because he is dead. The pressures of life made him take his life, don't take his accomplishments too. It is not something that will detract from the university or require much work but it will mean a lot to those who lost him. Do the right thing.

Love always to Stefan and his family, a funny, talented and beautiful guy who will never be forgotten. Let's get people talking more openly about mental illness and get rid of the stigma xxxx

Supporting this proposal. Stefan James Osgood will never have any benefit from such an Honorary Degree but it will help tremendously his grieving family.

I was lucky enough to graduate from Aber in 2005 and after reading this story, I think we should be honouring this young man and giving his family a legacy to cherish.

He seemed a really nice guy on the few times I bumped into him. He deserves something from his time at Aberystwyth University
