University Is not just about grades & modules It should aspire to teach students more than knowledge: How to integrate, how to open one's mind to other views & experiences. How to engage with the World.
It seems to me therefore that Stefan more than qualified for his degree...

His work at the university, all his work towards his degree should not go unrecognised. He may have failed a few modules, but considering the circumstances you'd have to be heartless to think that important.

Stefan would have never left university without completing his degree. He has never given up on anything, he would have tried and tried again until he finished his degree.

Stunned that the University can make awards to a journalist who writes that she spent holidays in Aber and to a Canadian children's writer yet ignore this outstanding contributor
