A lot of people who have honorary degrees did far less for the universities which bestowed them. It seems to me that Stefan did more than enough for the university, and by that I mean the students who are the university, to deserve this. Read the tributes from countless freshers who say how much he did to make them feel welcome and to feel special in their first time away from their homes. Los and Kate Osgood.

Stefan was a constant source of advice and support throughout my time with the University Fencing Club. He absolutely and unequivocally deserves full recognition of his contributions to the University.

Please give it to him, he deserves it

Lovely lad; completely deserves this, out of pure respect!

Having met Stefan as a student from another University through sport, his contribution to its representation outside Aberystwyth was nothing short of exemplary. To deprive him of this recognition would be a travesty.

This should happen, he deserves it.............

To not award him his degree would be cruel and unjust. So what if he failed a few modules? He obviously supported his university in many areas and was admired by his peers.

He's a good bloke

It goes without saying that there were special circumstances that affected Stefan's academic performance. It's tasteless to refuse to take that into consideration and deny his family the full acknowledgment of his contribution to the university.

Sounds like an awe inspiring man.
