Availability of legal outdoor shooting areas on BLM (Public-owned) lands must be maintained. Citizens that use the area should be safe, respectful and clean up their mess. Clean up efforts could be organized without too much difficulty during the "no shooting / high fire danger months".
Don't let a few bad apples who leave trash behind ruin this for the rest of us. I am a responsible shooter who has been going here for the past 25 years. I always pack everything that I bring and tell others to do the same.
Please reconsider this... areas like ours have limited outdoor shooting areas. The private "for pay" ranges can be very expensive and have limits to how long you can be there. Paid by the hour for example.
There are too few places left to shoot in SoCal. Other forms of recreation have their areas; the shooting segment of the population deserves space as well. If cleanup is the issue, shooters will get together and clean up, just as they do in many other spots.
I would love to see this place open till I'm too old to go enjoy . I'm showing my sons how to be responsible gun owners and shooters here and it has been part of our family for years . I always try my best to pick up more trash than what I have and sometimes when it's real bad I try to load up my truck the best I can .
We should have the right to practice firearm defense on our American entitled land
We need areas open up to us law abiding citizens

This makes as much sense closing down a range for littering, which is already illegal as it does closing down a highway for trash along the side. This will only encourage illegal shooting in less safe areas.
