I can understand stopping scamming, but this is beyond stupid. Not everyone has a smart phone, which cuts out on a lot of peoples ability to use the feature.

This update is overall stupid. Though it increases the security of accounts as stated before people won't buy a smartphone to play CS:GO or even F2P games like Dota 2 and TF2! It's like saying "Here, download this game. It's free!!! But first you oneed to buy a smartphone or else you won't be able to trade, one of the most important features of these games!"

Prices will crash, trading will possibly die. Not everyone has an Android or an IPhone, and this could help kill off steam in foreign countries.

People could also send "too good to be true" offers to others, but then cancel the trade while the items are in escrow, meaning the victim cannot accept real offers for their item in that time

escrow is a obvious mistake towards the tf2 and csgo trading economy and would completely ruin the profit aspect of this games. Therefore escrow should not be put into effect.
