Steam Escrow Petition

If this happens, rip trading,CS:GO,TF2, and anything else that has an in game economy based around trading.

What about those who use Nokia 3310s?

This will make steam trading even worse then it already is. Why would any sane person agree to implement this?

Hurtful to the large part of the community that do not have a smart phone.

this would get rid of betting like csgo powerball and the big streamers that advertise steam and csgo would stop and ruin your buisness

This will ruin your income. No one will want to trade anymore, therefore no one will be willing to buy keys/skins from you.

I sell pro-pain and pro-pain accessories

This is a terrible idea.

Fuck Dat

THIS IS HORRIBLE! The 7 day wait was horrible enough already.

I don't use trading much, but I can CLEARLY SEE how badly this is going to impact every single game's economy. Not everyone has a smartphone. I got mine just this year, in fact. If I can't get access to the item I want for a few days because my trading partner doesn't have a smartphone, why trade in the first place?

Trading is becoming hard enough and my smartphone died so this is a pain

Stop trying to inconvenience everyone and ruin the community, Valve.

Fuck Escrow

This update would benefit only a few select players, and the rest, it completely f*cks over. Its not good whatsoever

I think everyone at valve has gone colmpletely mad

If GabeN loves his community he will remove this.

This is awful. This won't be taken lightly valve, watch yourselves.

Valve please don't do this. I don't even do betting, but many of my friends who I often trade with don't have or want steam guard. It is not your fault if someone is scammed and we should be allowed to make trades with people without a holding period.

This is extremely unfair and will most likely cause major community issues.
