I can see how bad this can be. It seems like this would cause as much discord as what happened in the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion with the Oblivion Crisis. I have no Idea why valve would do this. Especially on an business point of view. It really sounds like they either want to destroy everything they built or they just arn't thinking things through at all. I hope everything will become better.
