The youngest one (who occasionally plays Heavy on TF2) is just 7 years old. Stop babying the community, they do need to learn somehow.
More security is fine, but make it harder for steam accounts to be hijacked. Make them harder to recover. Require more information. Make the hijackers have a hard time getting in, rather than having a hard time looting the account. Heck, make a steam antivirus or something if you need to. If something interacts with steam, stop it from doing so! Or flag the account! PREVENT instead of CURE.
