trading is already hard enough with my account not sync'ed to any mobile atm
this would 100% break my acc as i dont want to have a phone...
my acc is worth over £200

This is unfair because nit many people can afford to buy smart phones including me, it will make trading a lot more difficult and will have a very negative impact on the community.

Valve is an idiot company. I might have to find a different game to play if this happens, since trading is my favorite part of tf2.

I don't have a smartphone and even if I did using it and entering codes every time I trade, start Steam or whenever valve wants me too would be too much of a pain, especially since I don't have a particularly valuable inventory. Of the games with tradable items on steam I only play tf2 and I have traded and gotten almost my entire inventory from the automated trading site Scrap.tf and being part of their strong community is one of the main reasons I play tf2 regularly. Sadly I think it would be difficult or impossible for them to get their bots to work with Escrow and with the thousands of trades they do every hour they cannot accept a three day waiting period on their side of the trade or on the users side of the trade, condemning either the whole site or alienating the users without Escrow. I also don't log into Steam or check my email regally every three days so not only would a trade hold be a disability and pain but it would not even protect me from hackers. The only way Escrow and the trade hold can work is if they are optional, possibly with the option of only manually applying them to valuable items in your inventory that you do not wish to sell immediately.
